Founded in London in 2023 by Maisie Ella Holland, the act. studio was created from a desire to make eyewear that feels elevated, effortless and worth keeping.
With a focus on considered design & quality craftsmanship, every frame is made to become part of your rotation and not a passing trend. At the heart of the brand is a belief in shopping slower, choosing better and investing in pieces you’ll keep reaching for.
The brand was born out of a feeling I couldn’t quite find.
I’ve always loved sunglasses, but I wanted something that felt truly elevated. Sleek, considered and designed with intention.
I searched for a brand that got it right. From the frames themselves to the packaging and the feeling of opening them, I wanted every part to feel intentional. But time and time again, something was missing.
So, I created it.
